TMMAR Granite's Silver Bullet

SILVER BULLET --- 2017 AOA RESERVE COLOR CHAMP and NINE BLUES!


TMMAR's Granite's Silver Bullet was born at 20lbs 2oz. Bullet has grown nicely and is a stocky, well built juvie boy. His conformation is straight and well proportioned. His bone structure is solid, with great substance of bone. Correctly aligned jaw & a dense facial beard. Bullet is gorgeously colored. Most definitely a dark silver grey - and does carry some areas of rose grey tipping. A classic style neck and four white socks.

Bullet's Dam is our own GLR Tessa. She is the daughter of Great Lakes Ranch multiple champion winning, and Judges Choice mother GLR Tica. Tessa's sire is a 5 time Color Champion Young Felipe. Tessa followed their lead, in her only two shows, MAPACA and AOBA Nationals 2013, Tessa took first places and Color Championship in very competitive classes! Tessa has great presence, beautiful luster and is very well grown for her age. Tessa has no MacGyver blood and the fiber characteristics that both her sire and her dam pass on to their offspring as well as the colored genetics from her grandsire Shavano.

BRKRD Silver Granite, Bullet's Sire, is the entire package we had been looking for in a grey herdsire. He offers blinding luster, super fineness and outstanding conformation. It is safe to say, his fleece is the kind that the industry have been trying to breed into greys for sometime! Silver Granite is sired by the 2011 Dark Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Peruvian Silver Heat, the first grey to ever accomplish this title.

Silver Granite has collected a total of 12 purple banners and 18 blue ribbons in halter shows during his career to date. In his growing list of accomplishments were back to back Color and Reserve Championships at both the 2012 and 2013 Nationals, Futurity and MAPACA Shows. It is easy to see, that the Judges agree, Silver Granite is the next up and coming star in the grey suri world. Jess and Zach from Halo Ranch brought some of his first crias to the show ring in 2015.

Bullet has continued with the same trend as his siblings. Bullet has collected for straight BLUES. Unfortunately, there have not been enough greys most of this year at the shows Bullet has been shown for championships. We had Bullet shorn and will be forward to the results from the Fall 17 Fleece Shows as well as the SP 18 Show season.

Update: Silver Bullet brought home a Blue and A Reserve Championship from AOA National Fleece Show in July!
