In August 2015, Catalina gave birth to a 19.5 lbs multi white and light fawn male, Kasper of The Midnight Moon. According to Doug and Julie Rice, King Kasper, as we love to call him...is one of the most upright & correct crias they have ever had born on their farm, R&R Suris. Kasper has beautiful locks & luster! He also has a wonderfully "fun" personality - always clowning around - Julie swears he just keeps fooling around, if he sees people laughing at him!
Kasper's price is by no means an indication of his quality. At the 2016 Nationals, he finished with a 4th Place Ribbon, behind the eventual Champion and Reserve Champion in the Light Suri Class of 18. The Champion of the Light Suri, a Juvi, Electrofyre's Cosmic Dust, went on to become the National Supreme Champion. That proves what a tough class that Kasper was competing in at National's that year. In a twist of fate some would call it, The Midnight Moon @ R & R Suris was offered an opportunity to become partners with Raynay Alpaca Farm LLC in Electrofyre's Cosmic Dust. As a result, Kasper will not be utilized as part of our future breeding program. So, we are looking for the right home for the King!
